Reading for me is much more than a pastime. It somehow rearranges the ideas and thoughts I have in my head. If I don’t read for more than a few days, I feel the consequences.
If I had to decide what my favorite genre is, I would immediately answer fantasy.
I think it all started by watching the movie The Lord of the Rings. From there I always wanted to explore new fantastic worlds.
I am not a fast reader and I strive to be able to become more and more. There are so many great books to read that it’s a shame to miss them.
If I made a list of books for sure I would lose myself describing them one by one with a torrent of words. The best thing to see what I’m reading and what I’ve read is definitely to go to my Goodreads account.
I’ve been going indoor climbing for a few months. More precisely bouldering.
I would love to be able to create a wall suitable for my home 😅
I consume a lot of it. I always try to hold back and just watch movies. I fail very often 🤭. As with books, I like movies and fantasy series but, given the great availability, I watch a lot of action films.
I have a strange taste for the 80s and 90s movies. They take the time to tell the story and the detachment with today’s films is visible. Even the ruined image quality and often with white dots jumping here and there take me back to childhood.
Among my favorite movies and series:
- The Shawshank Redemption
- The Lord of the Rings
- The Matrix
- Harry Potter
- Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls
I enjoy writing tech articles, reviews of what I consume, and short stories.
When I prepare an RPG campaign I write a lot. I like to imagine alternative worlds.
My secret dream is to publish a fantasy book. Of those with an illustrated cover and quality paper.
Aside from the latest Xbox, I think I own all the consoles out there. Given the limited time available to me at the moment, I think that the real pastime is to collect them.
Among my favorite genres, there are fighting games, action, Metroidvania, and graphic adventures stand out.
I’ve played Dota 1 and 2 and StarCraft 2 for years.
Also if it has a good story I would play it.
Now I’m really into Street Fighter V.
Among the games I keep in my heart:
- Dead Cells
- StarCraft 2
- Street Fighter 5
- Need for Speed: Underground 2
- Life Is Strange
- Warcraft 3
- The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II
I tried to make a selection, but there would be many more that I would enter.
I played Pathfinder a lot with a group of friends. At the moment I enjoy reading the manuals but I am unable to play due to lack of time.
Here is a list of the games I have played/want to play:
